What is the difference between the T-series, M-series and the S-series Cello bows?

The S-series have a low weight and high elasticity providing unparalleled agility and speed. They are recommended for dark sounding instruments. Suited to soloists

The M-series are a little heavier than the S-series and draw out a warmer, softer sound. They are perfect all-rounder bows and recommended for brighter instruments

The T-series is a universal bow. The special characteristic is a sound that combines great warmth and depth with a wide range of overtones and brilliance

All Arcus bows are classified by resonance. The higher the number, the better the resonance of the stick. For a more detailed description of each category summarised below, please click here.

S Light, strong, fast, brilliant sound
M More flexible and heavier, warm, rich sound
T Universal offering sound both warm and brilliant
