Description
The Dominant Violin D string is available with a choice of winding – the standard is aluminium wound and then there is also an option of silver winding. The silver offers a brighter sound than the Aluminium. The core is a highly flexible, multi-strand synthetic core.
The D string is the third string in the set which is widely recognised as the bench mark strings, well known for their distinctive tone and playability. This string is available as a single string here or as part of a complete set.
Dominant strings are known and used worldwide due to their exceptional tone, quality and playability. They are impervious to changes in temperature and humidity and have a very stable intonation.
