Designed on a new composite fibre core, Larsen Tzigane violin strings capture the essence of the gypsy sound. They offer a sound similar to gut strings, providing a broad range of tonal colours. Lower tension increases carrying power while producing a pleasing tone with unique overtones

Larsen Tzigane were directly inspired by Ravel’s Tzigane and so delivering a richly smooth, saturated, sound with an overlay of sensual warmth.

They play in quickly and have excellent focus and projection. A mellow accompaniment for the brighter to neutral sounding instrument.
