Primavera 200 Cello outfit (All sizes)

The Primavera 200 Cello outfit has long been regarded as the outstanding instrument in its price bracket. Not only beautifully crafted but offering powerful tone and projection, it is our best selling student cello, commonly referred to as the Prima 200. Hand carved maple and spruce with inlaid purfling, it has an ebony fingerboard, top-nut and pegs.

The outfit is complete with an integrated tailpiece, padded bag and composite bow. The cello is correctly set up in our workshop and comes standard with Larsen Aurora strings. We do, however also offer the option of Jargar strings and you will get to keep the Aurora as spares – you can of course add any other strings to your basket and request that they’re fitted. Upgraded strings further enhance the big and warm sound of this instrument.

This instrument is also available in all sizes from 4/4 – 1/8 size. This instrument is also available with Wittner FINETUNE pegs fitted.

Primavera 200 Cello outfit set up by Caswells Strings (buying with confidence): We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard, not something you have to pay for! Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
