The Thomastik Spirocore Cello Silver G string has a flexible multiwire spiral rope core and is wound with Silver. The Silver winding offers the same power but slightly brighter sound than the standard G string.

Spirocore cello strings are a technical further development of the rope-core strings as they have a more flexible spiral core made of steel. This spiral rope has greater elasticity, therefore a higher period of vibration than other rope core strings.

Spirocore Cello Silver G string:

  • S28A Silver winding on a spiral steel core.
  • Tailpiece end Orange and peg end Orange
  • The Spirocore G is also available with a Chrome winding or a Tungsten winding
