In a worst case the wood actually shrinks resulting in cracks. The Humidifier is essential if you are travelling with your cello from a cool climate to a hot and dry climate.

Simply soak the Trophy Cello Humidifier in water, squeeze out the excess moisture and slip the flexible tube through the F-hole. A Humidity indicator card helps monitor the humidity and guard against cracking.
